PRINTING AND DUPLICATION ON DISC

 

How does Duplix print on discs?

Duplix has invested in several print technologies and robotics.

We use Teac Thermal Re-Transfer printers with photo realistic printing. The disc is water and scratch proof.

Will the label I created and printed be the same as the one on my duplicated disc?

A digital color printer is able to render same color in 95% of the cases. But you may find a minor color difference between what you see on your monitor and the actual printed disc. If you need 100% compatibility please contact us at support@duplix.it Other than this, what you see on your printed label is what you get on the disc.

Will my duplicated discs work in all players?

Please note that duplicated media may not play in older players. Older CD and DVD players used to have difficulty playing CD-R and DVD-R discs. This was due to their lasers not being designed with these discs in mind. However this is a diminishing problem as these players become less common.

How do I send artwork and data files?

Upload it online to Duplix, drop it at our upload box module at www.duplix.it , or email artwork to files@duplix.it quoting your order number in the subject line.

You can also send your master CD or DVD in the post to:

Duplix – Via Treviso 42/c – 31010 Silea – ITALY.

Your duplicates follow your master:

MP3 CD master = MP3 CD duplicates

Data CD master = Data CD duplicates

Audio CD master = Audio CD duplicates

Data DVD master = Data DVD duplicates

DVD Video master = DVD Video duplicates

Software DVD master = Software DVD duplicates

E.g. If you want CDs that play in domestic CD players you must send an Audio CD

If you wand DVDs that play in domestic DVD players you must send a DVD Video.

If there is an error on your master - there will be an error on your duplicates.

 

Intellectual Property Rights Policy

You are responsible for the content you deliver to us for storage and production.

You are responsible for obtaining permissions for submitted content (audio, data, video, text, and graphics ) which may be required from third parties and you warrant that your products do not infringe upon the rights of any third party, including copyright, trademark or privacy.

You represent that you are the owner of the copyright of the content you upload into your account; and, or you created the content yourself and own the copyright in the content; and, or you have a direct or implied license from the copyright owner and, or the contents are in the public domain.

You agree that we have the right, but not the obligation, to monitor any submitted materials, and to disclose any information to any third party in order to operate business properly; to protect ourselves and our customers; and to comply with legal obligations or governmental requests.

We respect intellectual property rights.

We expect everyone who uses our services to respect intellectual property rights.

We will delete all content that is reported to us to violate the intellectual property rights of third parties. We will share the submitter’ s account information with third parties as necessary. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless and accept responsibility for reimbursing us for any costs, expenses or liability we incur if you use our service in any way that is incompatible with our policies or violates any law.

Privacy Policy

Customers are required to provide us with their address, credit card information, and desired shipping method. We use this information to send out orders and to provide customer service. We store names, addresses, and order details to improve customer service. We use your account information only to conduct normal business operations. We will not provide your information to any third party for any purpose other than conducting normal business operations. Your content (audio, data, video, text, and graphics) will not be made available to third parties without the publisher’s permission. We reserve the right to delete your content and graphics from our system at any time and for any reason. We reserve the right to disclose account and personal information to protect our business or to comply with the law, to cooperate with investigations of activities which may be unlawful, or to protect the rights or property of the company or others. You must represent and warrant that you own or have permission to use any copyrighted material (content, text and graphics) you upload into your account. You must also agree to comply with our intellectual property policy. We reserve the right to cancel service for accounts for any reason, including inactivity.

For how long does Duplix keep my projects?

30 days if the project has been uploaded but not ordered.

180 days if the project has been ordered and shipped.

Do I retain copyright to my product?

Yes, you retain full copyright to your product.

How fast does Duplix deliver my job?

Turnaround time is flexible. You choose how fast you want your job consigned to you and we’ll make sure it happens. The options are:

- Overnight: If you confirm your order and pay not later than 9:30 AM, we’ll assemble and ship your job by 6:PM.

- 24H 1 Day: If you confirm your order and pay not later than 12:00 AM, we’ll assemble and ship your up to 500 pcs job by 6:PM on the following day.

- 5 Day: If you confirm your order and pay not later than 12:00 AM, we’ll assemble and ship your job by 6:PM on the 5th day.

How can I pay for the Duplix services?

You are welcomed can pay with Credit Card, PayPal, or Wire Transfer.

Can Duplix ship my discs on my behalf?

Duplix is truly your complete CD/DVD Solution. We create, replicate, print, package and mail your CD/DVD project – and all this can be drop shipped to anywhere in the World as fast as you need it.

What is the quality of the manufactured product?

CDs and DVDs manufactured in our facility look and feel as good or better than similar products found in retail outlets. We print digitally in full color directly on the disc surface and case inserts and covers. We don't use peel-able labels. We use Thermal transfer printing, this creates a seal, making the disc waterproof and smudge free.

Because our process is highly automated, we’ll accept returns of duplicated discs only if media is defective and you are not able to read its content.

Which brands do we use?

CD Disc:

Capacity: up to 700 MB

Usage: Audio, Data, Video, Games etc.

We use AAA grade Falcon Professional CD-rs. These discs are full face, which means your design can print right up to the center of the disc. Our disc have a silver burnside, not the usual silver/green tint of a lesser grade cheaper disc.

Our discs start life white coated upon which is printed your black text or colour design. 

DVD Disc:

Capacity: 4,7 GB (single layer)

Usage: Data, Video, Games etc.

We use a AAA grade Falcon Professional DVD-rs. These discs are full face, which means your design can print right up to the center of the disc. Our discs start life white coated upon which is printed your black text or colour design.

Blu-ray Disc:

Capacity: up to 25 GB

Usage: Audio and data storage, Video, Games etc.

We use AAA grade Falcon Professional Blu-ray. These discs are full face, which means your design can print right up to the center of the disc. Our discs start life white coated upon which is printed your black text or colour design.
